That is not what you want to happen, is it?, At least you didn't have a Janet Jackson-esque wardrobe malfunction :lol:

No worries, my friend, no worries. I'd love to have 'em all but I just don't hav e the funds to buy the complete package at the moment. Would you sell the bib-tights on their own? if so how much?. I'd also be interested in the gloves, if that's all good (in the hood) :).

Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground...

Still in the market for:

» Bib Tights (L/XL)
» Winter Gloves (Waterproof, ideally) Medium.
» Thermal Base Layer(s) - Medium/Large

What's about? what have you got hidden away in your attic/garage/man cave? cash waiting for the right item(s).

Dont forget to keep an eye out on Ebay for cheap base and mid-layer ski gear.

Whilst it isnt a cycle cut it does drop down your back better than normal clothes cut stuff. I use my old ski stuff constantly as my upper body cover. The base layers are very similar to cycling jersey material and they have nice thin fleeces as a mid-layer. Top them off with a bike cut jacket and some leggings/tights and you are sorted.

I use Ron Hill Bikester legs almost constantly. Its never going to win any fashion awards and it doesnt have any padding but its find for my 1/2hr each way commute and its usually pretty cheap.

That's a great tip, thanking you kindly.

Being wholly unfamiliar with the world of skiing, could you tell me what are some of the brands of ski wear that I should be looking out for? what are the names to conjure with, as it were? :D.

Tog24 is a ski-lite/rambling brand that has an outlet store down the road from me and a nice relaxed fit which works well in winter.

Proper ski stuff Helly Hansen base layers under a thin fleece are more of a cycling fit.

Just discovered you can't get my Winter tights any more - Ron Hill bikester DXB pro's tho :(

Thanks for the information, sir, 'tis appreciated.

I have updated the post title to better reflect what I'm currently seeking;

» Bib-Tights (as ever :roll: :)) - Ideally Unpadded - Large/Extra Large.
» Long Sleeve Base Layer(s) - Synthetic Fibres or Merino Wool - Medium/Large.
