wanted alloy, steel or carbon modern frame/fork 2004 onwards

looking for a decent steel, alloy or carbon modern frame/fork from 2004 onwards and would like it to be cheap if possible as I am doing an economy build, 30 pounds and up depending on what it is can stretch to more according to quality with a 100 - 150 ceiling but i'd rather do it for less than that, must be 53 - 54 cm in modern sizing.

Got a couple that may suit, Trek 1000 54 and a giant SCR compact geometry but comes out about the same
Both aluminium with carbon forks and in decent nick. Give me a couple of days for pics but they would be in your budget.
