Vuelta a Espana

Re:

A few notes I've taken.

I do get a bit pissed with the tv coverage and then you realise how good the french are with the tour!

The local old bill are a bit thick!

Why the hell would you take your son who is mentally unstable and prone for doing this pushing thing to a televised grand tour where your inches away from the stars!

Team vehicles being torched - whatever next!!

Oh and the plod!!

Re:

Not watched the Vuelta for a few years but really enjoying this years edition. The route is pretty brutal by the looks of it so the riders get my respect for taking part. Froome is looking good for the win but still a long way to go.

Considering recent events in Spain you can't really be too hard on the Police for acting the way they have. Although the big lad who shoved that guy in front of the motorbike could've made a slightly better split second decision and pulled the guy back rather than shoving him over the road, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. There was a young girl who jumped in front of the camera bike today who was bloody lucky she didn't get squished, the heat and excitement seems to do strange things to cycling spectators
