Ok so please don't judge me but no matter what bike I look at, all I can think of is my old Rift Zone and how much I miss it. I can't let it go so I really want project Firebird to be my old Rift Zone. The linkage cracked a few years ago and the bolts holding it on sheared off so I spent a year trying to find the parts before I gave up in 2021 and had to sell the parts off it in order to fund a bike I could ride. Even Marin themselves couldn't help. So now I'm wishing on every shooting star for a miracle...
I'm looking for a Marin frame around the same year (2013-14) that uses this linkage. I don't care if the frame is cracked, bent, dented, snapped. All I want is the linkage, bolts and rear shock. It's a slim chance to find one that I can afford (around £150 so ideally a damaged frame) but I'm not giving up now. I want to be able to get my old bike back up and running. I'm scouring Ebay and the likes but if anybody knows of one that might be the same it would be appreciated more than I can tell you. I've tried, I've really tried to find something to replace it but I can't replace this bike because of what it means to me.
