If you’re digging on French goodies, watch out for some of the early MBKs. I had this 1987 (sadly too small) which had great tubing and was beautifully constructed: internally brazed and nice details. Very different from the gussetty welded later ones that often pop up.

WOW This really looks like a keeper to me even in smaller size.

Peugeot did some internal welds at the time too but tubing was not so spicy as this one.

Crazy spec on that SLICE, even with premium AIR-B inner tubes! Fully tricked out for a production machine and must have been pretty light.

I believe every single component, tyre, tube, cable, rims annd hubs and the frame/forks and the tubing are all made in France.
