We don't see a lot of Voodoos on here, perhaps because there aren't very many of them around. And yet this jersey just sold for more than most second-hand jerseys would have fetched. Is that just because it's a good design, or are there lots of secret Voodoo admirers out there?

My biking buddy has two Voodoos, a modern Wanga SS and an older Bizango, he really likes them. Designed by the great Joe Murray who also designed the Konas we love (or hate )

i had the exact same one [erzule]brother has it now though but i do have a 2005 voodoo hoodoo that i purchased from sideways cycles .when i come into a bit of excess cash i wouldnt mind getting the d jab [ti frame]

Years ago I worked in a shop who sold Voodoo,or rather would have liked to have sold Voodoo,they just didn't sell.Said shop also sold Trek which flew out the door,none of us could understand it as the Voodoos were really nice,I never had one though,I was Yeti mad at the time

Personally, I would have been far more likely to pay extra for a Voodoo than ever buy a Trek. But Voodoos were quite expensive though, weren't they?

I've got a 1997 Voodoo catalogue here and a Bizango with XT kit and an Indy SL (i.e., equivalent spec to a 97 Explosif) would be £2,030. I think a 97 Explosif was £1,480. That's a made-in-USA Tange Ultimate Superlight Bizango vs a made-in-Taiwan Columbus Max Explosif.

I reckon if only they'd sold them at a more realistic price, more would have been bought BITD, and then they'd come up on eBay every now and again.

Memory's all a bit cloudy but I'm sure they also did some far east framed bikes which were more affordable and almost identical looking.
Like you say its a real shame more didn't sell.
