Vintage Pedal Assist

Old School Grand Master
Don't know if there are British engine powered bikes but there are plenty in France/Spain. This one is Peugeot PX10 funky paint finish donor with a two stroke Itom Torino (French) engine. They were reasonably cheap, about equivalent of a new quality drive train of the era, but the fit was usually done by a 'pro'. Daniel Rebour rode one of these in his latter years. I've ridden something similar myself, and you can really rock them! Tuned, you can get 40km/h out of them and the range is impressive.

Eat this 5 grand ebikers!

This very popular Mosquito 38cc engine can be had for 100 quid, fully operational just requires fitting. Range about 150 miles.

None legally in the UK since changes to the Road Traffic Act classified them as mopeds and required the riders to have insurance and a licence.
