I had them Salmon mudguards BITD; thought they were great and much better than floppy plastic crap. Aero too

They work well, better than clip ons.

Nope. They appear flat, but actually there is a low depth ridge. The water just sort of bounces back from the mudguard onto the tyres and gravity does the rest.
