Vintage Claud Butler Frameset

Hi there,
Is there anyone out there that can help me put a date and model to this old Claud Butler frame?
Frame number is 7971 91557, same number stamped on steerer plus an 'A'.
Reynolds 531 tubes, has pencil Seat Stays, fluted Chain Stays, inside and out on drive side, arched rear brake bridge, and a Chater-Lea BB cup on the drive side. weight is around 2.5Kg(5lb) with old Red S headset.

The Head badge is original but I recall my Dad getting it re-enamelled in the early 1980's but the chrome ends, colour and transfers where matched. They didn't make a very good job of it though as there are some runs and the chrome is thin and has flaked away, badly on the forks. The gold lug lining is not as fine - and they glued the Head Badge back on!

Pictures might be too big. If your using mobile an image compressor is what I've used.
