Hi all,
I know the components aren't looking very original, but I might have some bits and pieces in the shed that would take it back to something nearer to the original.
However, I can't find any info on this particular one to help me date it.
Would anyone have ideas/links/catalogues?

Wasn't that the up market model to the "mile eater" with slightly fancier lugs from the early 1960's ?

Early Viking info seems to be sadly lacking........

Thanks for reply Shaun - I was guessing mid 60's but would really like to find a catalogue to see what it was like when original. The lugs are pretty fancy.
The other ones I see from late 50's early 60's seem to have pump pegs on the top tube, not the down tube as mine has, which should be a clue to date it, if someone already has done research.

Thanks for link Terry. I searched all of those and can't see a Hosteller with the pump pegs on the downtube, so that is throwing me off a little.

I bought it last night and a friend has picked it up for me - I won't have it in my hands until later this month.
But, I will do that when it arrives.
Is it under bb?

It will be either on the dropout or the BB depending on age, it should be on the fork as well. Terry

Couldn't find the serial on the Viking site.
But by reading between the lines , it's late 50's?

Serial is AJ 453.
