I quite like this one 'cos it's made properly, out of proper steel!
What tubeset is it?

True Temper GTX. Sometime in 1996 GT went away from the groove tube on the Psyclone. I have a black frame from 96 with the groove tube and one in Team Scream like this one which routes the rear brake cable at 6:00 directly under the top tube with the derailleur cables going down the down tube.

So the team used fillet brazed steel ones rathere than ti or alu. Is that right?

No the Team rode mostly hand polished Xizang Ti's....aside from Jimi Killens Yellow Psyclone, Mike King's team Scream and Hans Reys rainbow of Zaskars over the years.
