The nicest GT I've ever seen.
The rest all look the same TBH.

Not to argue but if it's a Triple Triangle frame which is just like any other GT you must mean that all GT's are nice?? Unless of coarse the color turns you on? :D

Blue/ Yellow is nice, but I've never seen a steel GT that hasn't been low rent, and the alu/tit ones have all been silver/grey. Fine if you want a silver/grey GT just like everyone elses, but I don't.

So the team used fillet brazed steel ones rathere than ti or alu. Is that right?

Don't know anything about these, great colour scheme.

Is it me or does the paintwork look a bit too shiny for it's age. Has it been repainted/lacquerred ? My 98 Outpost has faded a bit despite being lovingly looked after.

Walked into that one !
If you look at the ebay pix (particularly the end cap and close-ups of the blue paint).

Obvious that you don't know anything about Psyclones. You want to compare a production 98 Outpost to a handmade fillet brazed frame that's fillet brazed one at a time to order and painted to order with DuPont Imron painted to order. Imron, yeah well that probably would look a tad shinier than a 98 Outpost . The Imron paint alone would probably cost more than what GT paid to get the Outpost built and put on a container from Taiwan. This frames been stored inside for the past 14 years so the sun hasn't had a chance to breakdown the sheen of the clearcoat yet.

The color scheme is called "Team Scream" GT used a painted version on the Psyclone and on the Bravado LE in 1993. Very slow process to mask the exchange between the yellow and the blue. They did a cheaper decal version of it on the Tequesta and Timberline in later years.

See- I have taste and class!
I always new I was really a princess!

Keep your knickers on gm1230126, I merely said it looked a bit shiny and wondered if it had been repainted.

A simple explanation would have sufficed.

GT- You either love them, or hate them!
There is no middle ground!
I quite like this one 'cos it's made properly, out of proper steel!
What tubeset is it?
