V brakes and boosters?

Any of you fine fillies know if 'Pauls' brake boosters will fit on XT V brakes? And would they actually do any good, or is it a case of asthetics?

If not does anyone know which Boosters work with V brakes?

The idea of a brake booster is to eliminate the flex in the brake bosses by stoping them flex outwards when the brakes are applied. The type of brake fitted should not effect the way that they work. So any of them should work with V's, you should just need longer bolts and spacers.

Any booster should work with V's providing they clear the moving gubbings, they're really no different to cantis.

I used a Crystal Design one for years on the rear of my AMP, a bike notorious for it's flexi back end, and it made a massive improvement. To get it to work i just machined up a set of spacers that cleared the linkages.
