Using cycling routes on SmartPhones

Still sounds complicated..I have nokia maps..not google sob.

Dude.. I can lose my way going from the lounge to the kitchen in my own home

Was something on the news about people using smartphones to navigate resulting in search and rescue

I saw that.. something about a woman called mountain rescue because she had lost her way in some mist and didn't know where she was or the terrain or anything since she only had her smart phone GPS type thing..

Well.. she must be some empty headed bint.. because my smart phone has a compass on the maps, a layer for terrain and this odd thing where you can zoom in and out facilitating the whereabouts of nearby places.

no need to thank me, just amalgamated the info i found on the internet

i have used my maps a couple times - symbian so will be the same as nokia, its pretty good


that story reminds of that bloke in the bmw? that drove off a cliff or something because he followed his gps! :roll:
