Could be an Edge, member GM1230126 would be the one to confirm it - what is the serial number and are there any other markings?

i cant find any serial number on this frame.

Appears to be a Taiwan built 1998 GT Forte which had the top tube end cap stamped GT 3AL2.5V. Edges just had the larger GT stamped on the top tube end cap. Looks to me like someone tacked on the headtube cablestops after acquiring it.
