I had a 96 Tufftrax from new, which was very similar.

My dad has it now, its totally mint, it still looks like it did when it was bought from Evans Cycles. Original tyres etc

Seller says it's alu frame - but it looks more like my steel ones to my inexpert eye.

An Saracen Xray 1 which is what he's got it described as is an Aluminium frame with "some box section for strength", but that looks like an old chromo tubed Tufftrax to me.

I reckon it's a 93 Tufftrax. Definitely steel.
