Well, I bought these from directly Team HTC Highroad when they disbanded in 2011. They were back-up wheels occasionally used by Cavendish and the team!
These are the famous HED 3C DEEP carbon tri-spoke wheels, which have had the fancy deeper carbon fairing installed in them at the factory - if you know you know, they were super super expensive and rare, even at the time they were released to the public.
And of course, once you've seen these, it's hard to disagree that the proportions of these deep fairing wheels are the way they all should have been
They look so much better than the rounded look of the normal Hed 3C wheels where the spokes join the rim sections.
Very little use, rim braking surfaces excellent, no cracks, scratches, etc. Just some residue from sticker/decal removals. Still has the magnet taped on by the team for computer data!
Takes Shimano cassette, Conti Sprinter/Podium tyres installed and included.
£1200 for the set (less than what they cost me), I may consider splitting if interest in just one.
