U-Brake, have I got it right? Also GT question

Simple question I guess... have I got it right?

Also this is on the back of a GT Pantera AL, apparently since this one has a flat GT badge on the back of the toptube it was only produced in 1 year?

Wow my Pantera looks identical to your Zasker.... right down to the gusset on the front and the flat badge on the back off the top tube...
Were they the same back then?
 
Suddenly from out of the blue come Panteras, I've just got one of those as well. Probably going with some early model Marzocchi Z3's for forks though as a bike as stiff and heavily gusseted as this will be far too unyeilding a ride for me with rigid forks :roll:
 
I've riden many bone shaking k's on mine... With the rigid forks, small 1.9 larsens, even with the foam grips I normally come away from a ride with sore hands.
There is absolutely NO give in this frame!
