tyre question.

a friend of mine asked me about tyres for his road bike.
basically he is some what heavy set and is looking for tyres suitable for his weight.
he wants something heavy duty with some tread on.
all i know is the tyre size is 700 c
what would be a good tyre to use ?

At the heavy end try Schwalbe Marathon; for something lighter but tough Conti Gatorskin.

Or for something in between those two, Panaracer (Panasonic) Pasela.
