It is a nice bike but when you can buy fully built immaculte funks ti fat chances etc and still have change just dont understand it

There's a few like this that just go around and around on eBay.... a lovely Breezer Lightning Flash 2.2k, a couple of GT Lightnings at 1.5 and 2.5k respectively - an American Breezer in Germany at 2.5k some of them have been on eBay for literally years. I've come to the conclusion that people are just happy for them to stay there at that price until the right person comes along. Most of us on here won't be that person probably 
But maybe the builder will find someone who has a love for a particular bike, but doesn't know how and/or have the time to build their own but has the cash, and they'll go 'Yes...take my money'.
That's a very a small market, but I guess, if you don't cast your net, you'll never catch that fish.

Kind of a natural selection.
If you were to list everything you have with the intention of keeping a few, but you're not overly fussed on what sells and what doesn't because they would be taking up the same space regardless, then it could be worth it for a 20 minute ad which can stay there, unmaintained, for as long as the platform exists? as you'll never know who's out there, looking for what and when, or what they're prepared to pay if you don't...
I guess it's all subjective and comes down to perceived value.... or if you've foolishly stumbled onto ebay after a few pints
