Was that the man-made 'lake' near Manley by any chance? I use to work in the Enterprise Centre where there was a windsurf shop for a while (until the bubble burst... ;-) ) - nothing to do with you??

That was the place, worked the on and off for 10 years as a windsurf instructor..got lots of bike bits free!!!
