Tour De France

Agreed...

But what is this chainguard Chris Boardman was on about???

I also was puzzled with this so had a look on the web and could not see anything that would stop the chain hopping off the bottom ring ... not that it would of matted much as he was pulling a big gear as they all do ... so like when you flick it across with the shifter you will never succeed on such a steep climb[/quote]

It's getting exciting, about time too.
Waddya mean? The top guys have been fighting for survival from day 2. It's been hard , and it's been brutal! Best tour for years!

probably this sort of thing:

That's an off-road thing, surely.
Story now is that AS DID have one fitted but it was bent! :?

I can't see how any device would help if the limit screws on both front and rear derailleur were correctly adjusted!

they push so hard on big rings , when they shift on lower ring , the chain jumps and that device is supposed to stop that .
