Frames come up on ebay occasionally for less, I am still thinking what to do.

Repair welds would be visible with no guarantees.

Anyone got a purple Torus they don't want?????

Yes £40 to repair, I'm thinking is sounds too cheap but work on web site looks fine.

I am going for it next month but will be asking lots of questions when I take frame to workshop.

Obviously I will keep you all updated on quality etc.

Surely the more expensive repairs would be tube replacement rather than running a weld over the crack?

The the higher price was just to weld over the cracks, not a massive problem if the welds are nice.

surely though if the seams are the failure point, then it'll just continue along the seam? how is the weld being done, do you know?
