Those toolkits tend to be made out of monkey metal and last about 2 rebuilds. I'd buy each part separately and better quality as and when you can afford it.

These bits roughly came to about £50 over the years but have lasted way longer than cheapy stuff

yes lgf is right, although its probably more expensive to buy each tool over time, at the time the cost isnt so bad, piece by piece i mean, and then in the end youve got yourself a decent tool kit

That's twice what I paid for my kit from Lidl and I've yet to bend or break anything from that (I've only done one rebuild so far though ). I have some other tools that I've bought over the years (including the world's most dangerous headset wrench that has crushed my fingers more times than I can remember!) which means I have some duplicated items so I should be OK if anything bends or snaps!

you people never get tired of being ultra vague.
one team saying pay the money, the other saying don't pay the money, cause it's overpriced. brands, marketing, quality of the built, these things should be important.
i would love to see more detailed feedback about the quality of the metal, etc.
real opinions.
