Tom Bromwich adapted bike complete

I've finally completed my retro disability bike now it's back from the paint shop. The frame is a classic 531db, portacatena dropouts, S4 lugs about 1980. I had to go with flat bars and all left hand control and that really dictated the retro-modern build. It's Dura-Ace 7900 gears, on ten speed thumbies and a Paul duplex lever that pulls two cables simultaneously. Wheels are Ambrosio on 7900, 3TTT stem, nitto bars and Brick Lane saddle.

Re:

Looks like a sweet bike, superb frame, can't in truth say the modern Shimano does it for me aesthetically but I understand that need must...... Hope it all goes well for you :D :D

Re:

Cheers both. I know what you mean about modern Shimano but I knew I wanted the compact chainset. Won't be long until I can have the shifter back on the correct side though as my thumb is quite strong now, but the brake will be as is for a while...
