Was looking at the drop outs and they look quite short compared to other singlespeed I have built,do you think it should work or will I need a chain tensioner?

yeah unless you file out the dropout so you can use all of it

Need new stem,grips,handlebar,brakes and chain,think that's me.

Iv borrowed the saddle and post off my orange trek whilst that is getting built

I'm thinking about pinching the cantilever brakes off my trek bike but the cables are shot,does any brake cable work with cantilever brakes ?

Actually now all done,chain tensioner snapped on me! Managed to get it on without using one,loads of fun to ride
