We heard rumours in our office of a plane hitting the world trade centre in the US. We thought it was just a light aircraft or something similar.

I switch on the radio, ''..we just cannot believe something like this could happen...'' - ok its serious.

The internet slows down, many sites simply disappear.

I turn the TV on, straight to the BBC news - and watch with millions of others in stunned horror as the second plane hits.

There are many many conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11, for example the fact that the Pentagon didn't have a plane shaped hole in it, and early news reports said a truck bomb had exploded outside it, which was quickly changed to a plane strike.... Undoubtedly an enormous human tragedy though.

It has also became one of those 'Where were you when....' moments, I was absolutley smashed and about to pass out in Sydney, it was about midnight and I was 100% stoned when a friend ran in the room telling us to turn the tv on, we both stayed awake for another 4 or 5 hours staring in disbelief at the tv....

There are many conspiracies. i'll agree but there is one key fact too the story. before plane one and 2 strikes. you can see, on slowed down video's better mini explosions inside both buildings, on both sides. I believe it's a government cover up.

When you sit and and watch a plane hitting a building live on TV, conspiracy theories are out the window, along with the fuselage, passengers, terrorists and so on.

I agree with you there, But when you think about it afterwards.. and really study things, you become open too more possibilities.. :?

I don't really care . It's something that happened in the past like so many other things . People died but they always will , if we did nothing but remembered those that died then we wouldn't live .
