So, sometimes to make your bike aesthetically perfect, you may need to go outside your usual comfort zone and dabble into the 'modern' world and/ or even more scary, the 'jumpy' world...

...so I just bought something with 'Gusset' written on it in gothic type. lol:

...just because it was powder coated white.

Now...

*Do I tippex out the word altogether thus making tippex a viable frame finish

*Tippex out some of the word making it actually my name?

*Leave it on and have the courage of my conviction and get laughed at by teenagers at bike stop points.

Personally I'd leave it, it'll probably wear off anyway, or get covered in mud so you won't see it.

Leave it, I doubt it will even be noticed; I know I dont look that closely at other riders "Gusset's"

Seriously, the odd spot of New School isn't all that bad, and really that writing is so faint it'll go unnoticed.

If you knew Gus , you would know there is only one answer .

carry a spare. ?

Don't joke. I did at MM. Mine was looking a bit aged, and the bolt was a bit bendy,so I brought another in the saddle bag. (Just in case)

is it etched or just a decal/paint? sure you could get it off easily with a bit of gentle polishing if it wasnt etched?

Well, i recently bought some Tektro canti's

They had Tektro in white on one arm, so i used some Propanol to lift off the lettering just leaving the pretty red ano beneath
