If the offending word is painted on try using metal polish to 'polish' it away, or, if it is laser etched into the powder coat use the tippex and then metal polish it to leave only the word tippexed out.

You could always use just a small blob of Tip Ex to make it read "Gus Sit", then you have a sweet personalised clamp!

Don't joke. I did at MM. Mine was looking a bit aged, and the bolt was a bit bendy,so I brought another in the saddle bag. (Just in case) :roll:

for once i'm not gonna take the pi$$. seatcolar bolt snapped without warning a few weeks back & couldnt get the broken end out! bodge pic actually worked in getting me the 12miles home!
