Titanium weld repair - can it be done twice?

here are some titanium frame design failures and fixes: https://www.ewhurstbikes.com/#ti enjoy ladies
Thank you, lady.

I was looking for a titanium frame repair, you've turned me off the idea. Not because of any inherent issues with ti, but I don't want to have to get stuck putting up with an inflated attitude like yours only to end up with a bike with cockatoo crap weld blobs.

Good luck with stuff.

Looks like the ladies man has gone. Maybe he was on day release, or something?
No, he'd be in the workshop, his "Fellowship of the Royal Society of Engineering Type Fellows of Engineering" certificate proudly displayed, his MIG welder set on too high of a wire feed speed, and not enough amperage, building blobs on top of blobs and building scrawny forks with took much rake, ghetto blaster playing Beastie Boys "Hey Ladies".

I know when I started welding, I went through as many flap discs as arc rods. But I got better with time.

Being the positive person that I am, I think if Tom keeps at it, maybe he'll get better too.

Are you referring to those forks that looked like they were melting and the wheel was way out front?

The only time i have seen a look like that was on an unsuitable bike , for jumping, that a mate of mine did a massive jump on and got the landing wrong. The top tube bent and pushed the forks right out. That rode so weird 😆

He can't get better. I have seen his type before in engineering and they just keep on doing the same thing and get stuck in a loop where they can't/wont improve , even though the skills to do better might actually be there , because it would mean admitting that they have been rubbish and talking nonsense. I think this is Narcissism?
