Just made a few modifications to this to make it more middle aged friendly🤦‍♂️
The fork is also a new addition and is an NOS Igleheart Suspension corrected version. I’ve put a few spacers under the stem to see how the position feels.
Better pics when I get it out into the wild.

Well! It rides pretty well. I fitted some new fancy inner tubes into the tyres and it lost even more weight. And the straight steel forks are a great complement to the Ti tubes of the frame. Really like this bike 👍

Really money well spent if you asked me. It will probably make a world of difference in terms of comfort and you will be able to enjoy longer rides.

I still struggle with my yo when it comes to long rides. Have to have frequent brakes as my wrists and neck get soar quick. Every hour and a half I have to take a break.

I think Yos have this super aggressive/ racy geometry that is fun for short and intense rides.

This way you now have an all day rider…

Well! It rides pretty well… Really like this bike 👍

Haha shock horror amazing bike rides great. Hope it brings you lots of enjoyment, which it will! Love the “steel is real” on the Ti, it was engineered to ride like a steel bike and that’s exactly what they do.

Panolgano - the Yo is exactly as you describe and it’s supposed to be. Try a Ti or a Buck if you want a similar ride as a Yo, but with the edge taken off. Buckshavers are ridiculously underrated frames.

I’ve got 2 Yo’s and they certainly are fast bone shakers. This Ti version certainly does have a softer feel to its ride. To be honest I love all 3 of my FAT’s. This 96 steel Yo needs to get ridden again soon
