after 15 years of faithful service, my cycle work stand has gone to the big scrap heap in the sky.

it has seen me through many a fettle and a fuddle.

it was crap but it was mine.

its head just fell off.

Sad to hear mate....I had a victorian cycle stand made of cast iron,It weighed 200 weight and I knocked it over a few months ago and after 120 years service ....it shattered into about six pieces...gutted...I feel for you :cry:

never been sad to have a bike break (always a good excuse to buy another) but i got a tad emotional when this happened. :cry:

got over it though, chopped the rest of its head off and bolted on a different, and more usable one.
