Tinker Juarez's Klein race bikes

Kai - glad you got that frame/fork. IMO you owe to yourself and retrobikers everywhere to do the full Tinker replica. Nothing worth having is ever easy - ask Rumpfy! Cool as.... 8) 8)

(and those hippies - isn't one of them a regular here? Looks familiar   )

Hi Kai!
Do the Tinker replica project, that would be the finest bike money can buy.
Even if it`s taking some time to collect the parts, I´m sure most people here would be glad to help you with that.

Oh and I have a variety of NOS ATi grrips to sling at the project, Dimply newtrons, and the mushroom jobs. Let me know what you need.

KLEIN Replica

Hi there were the pedals in the top picture not Looks ??? and in the other pictures Times ?

Is this correct , ?

Allright, I'm slowly turning to the dark side and starting to evaluate the needs for the Tinker Replica project...

You guys are making this a very expensive project for me!

I have many needed Ringlé & Grafton parts in turquoise - anyone care to swap for the purple ones ?

What ever you do don't ask for any money to help with this project they are so keen on you doing. You wont see them for dust as they run for cover.

This project sounds very $$$$ plus will take a long time. Also which Klein will you choose. As looking at all those lovely pictures. Their are many little differences.

I think Dave Hemming rode an Attitude when he won silver in the Junior Downhill at the '91 Durango worlds?

yep - shows how MTB racing has evolved (?) in 16 years if you compare it to Ruaridh Cunningham's bike this year!

I know which I'd rather have too.

And Kai - just do it. You'll find the parts but maybe have to sell something
