Yeah that proper is craftmanship, like everything on an I.F - granted. And I do love that dropout, I just thnk it looks a bit too ornate, a bit spindly for an Indy. Would siut a smaller guage, more spindly frame.
It's like wheels on cars...
big heavy car with heavy lines and bodywork, (think Merc SL, Range Rover, current 7 series), need solid designed wheels, not spindly super low profile wheels like they so often do. I mean this is a biiiiiig subjest and I shouldn't get onto car design this late past my bedtime, but some cars look right with a thinner spoked F1 or Imola say.
But I suppose it's whatever floats your coke float isn't it, or we'd all be under the fashionistas thumb wouldn't we?
