Ti P2 Fork

Anyone know when they stopped making them :?: I know you could still get them in 1999/2000 because I almost got them to put on my DeKerf when I first got it, I'm sure they were about £200 new then :)

I've heard that, pretty though they are, they didn't actually ride very well. Too flexy. Maybe that's why they dropped them.

Then again it might not have been economical to produce a product with such a limited market.

£200 for a titanuim fork is not too excessive .

I agree. The only big problem is to get one of these, and, even worse, get it for that amount...

didnt they make nearly £400 on ebay.com once last year?
Yes, a pair sold for about £400 earlier last year, before the £200 pair appeared - the latter had a very short steerer, hence the tame price IMHO.

the £400 US pair also had big publicity on the US forums, the UK pair went under the radar in comparison

& yes apparently they are slightly flexier compared to the normally fairly stiff steel P2s

I thought they were a hella lot more than that new?

Might well have been :) not sure why but thats the figure I had in my head :?

Thinking about it, it probably was more as I remember being really suprised by how much they were and I don't think £200 would have suprised me with the amount I spent on that bike
