Threqdless fork canti hanger

Hello,

Does anyone know where I might get a clamp on canti hanger
for a 1" threadless fork? Does such a thing even exist?
I mean the canti hanger with a bolt through it that allows it
to be clamped onto the stem so the hanger stays in place.

My LBS gave me a canti hanger for a threaded fork
with the lip on the back filed off, and said if I tighten the
stem bolt enough it will stay in place, but I think this sounds
like b0ll0cks, frankly: if so, why would there be lip in the first place?

yeah it does, if you tighten the stem bolt (you mean top cap bolt?) enough to stop hanger moving you'll more than likely overload the headset bearings!

Can't find one on eBay, will have a look and see if I have one spare
