Thorn (on my side)

Looks good, very purposeful! Make a mud flap for the back for the full wet weather look. Bars could do with a few degrees rotation up to get the drops flat but I know it's not done. Will be great riding bike when you are done. đź‘Ť

looking nice, heres my mk1nomad before they went with the std look headbadge, this was a lee cooper 'LA cycles' built fillet brazed one with the S&S coupling.

Ignore the saddle and bars, they dissapeared after a couple of rides in favour of comfort and riser bars

Such nice bikes for doing the weekly shop on

and the brazed nomad badge

Basically if it starts with LA on the frame number its a Lee Cooper built one.

Hi, I'm new here been lurking for a bit. I really like that, looks like you do serious mileage.
Hello! Well, it’s all in the ambition at the moment - but then all my bikes are way beyond my abilities now lol
Pre-COVID I was on 800 miles a month, now not even half that, but am making plans :)

At that point, or closely approaching it, where you blithely throw a casual “Just to sort the chain out next and then it’s ready for a wobble around the block to see how everything is shaping up” kind of comment
And then spend the next three weekends trying to actually resolve all the things you overlooked
Like the tyres are *quite* cracked on the running surfaces…

Test / set up ride just now…
Good things;
1. Super comfy
2. Looks hilarious
3. Flat pedals are grand
Not so good things;
1. Steering is twitchy - might be just it’s an odd experience
2. Pulls to the right on pedalling off - putting this down to above
Not good thing;
1. Cannot get the chain length right so the rear mech keeps fouling the cassette - need to visit the biek shop for advice :(
