Technical difficulties. I’m an ex toolroom apprentice so shy away from big fast indelicate machinery and a good job too. Setting the neck position without losing the effect of retaining the head tube is problematic as are the pickups as they’re wider than the box section.

Once I’m happy with the datum neck position, everything else will follow.

I have an inelegant solution but despite my reputation for bonkers builds, I hate a bodge.

Carefully hand sawing the frame is taking a while as each cut isn’t full.
