..... it really does glow in the dark with all the lights twinkling away - surely if 'there's anyone out there' they would sure as shit know where we are by now!? [/Random]

A bit like the movie Contact - Jody Foster, hmmmmm. The first powerful radio signal produced was during the 1936 Olympics which were televised world wide. The signal would have not even reached the edge of our galaxy yet travelling near the speed of light. It will be a while before we announce ourselves to a much wider audience.

I always smile when I see stuff like this, cos we always assume any other life forms are of an equal/superior advancement to us.......

... what if they're not?????? Like they're stuck in their own iceage, or the chromagnon era

Then they wouldn't have the first clue about us...       bunch of backwards neanderthals that they are/might be

I agree with gtsteve , it's about time we hopped on a space plane , took over these neolithic morons and stole their nice new planet

I call dibs on the oil .

If cinema has taught us anything about space travel any resistance from the locals or strange looking acid spitting fellows can be dealt with by pretty hollywood actors .

But it's not those out there we need to worry about , it's the ant people down below . Why can't we drill a fapping big hole through to the aussies ? Exactly , ant people !
