This is not a stumpjumper is it?

Came across this bike today that is advertised and stickered as a specialized stumpjumper.
I don't think it is one but it's an interesting bike nonetheless.
The group looks like early deore and the bullmoose bars give it an early 80s look.
Any insights what it could be and when it was made?

I checked the 1989 specialized catalogue and compared. As far as I can tell the frame characteristics and parts do match with the pink/green stumpjumper from 89.
