Third Blizzard's a charm? (1995)

 i went with the Marzocchi XCR Titanium as I wanted to carry the yellow/gold from the frame/cranks/saddle to the forks to give it a bit more contrast.

Looks great with the black and gold cranks 8)
I prefer the P2's too. Funny all the love for them suddenly, I got in trouble for putting them on my Blizzard!

For reference, here's the decal from the '94 Blizzard I sold earlier in the year. Not exactly NOS condition, but you get an idea anyway...

Yes, all the 94 tubeset decals seem to be standard tube manufacturer items, whereas in 95 they went back to a RM house design.

not sure if the tubing decal is correct for the frame. :? for the 94 I know this would be so as it's stated in the catalogue.

Frank, link to my Blizzard thread - which is SOOOOO outta date! The tubing decal on the 94 is not as per what you have there. I got the decal from Gil & that's what he supplied...dunno if to put it on or not? Not found a Tange decal like the one on my Blizzard - ex Beep Beeps.

3rd's just greedy.. or a place to hang the surplus bits on ;)

I think it's the funny offset on the marz forks that makes it look a bit odd. Might look better with a headset in.
How is the mystery bike doing ?

okay here's a shot of the pair of blizzards. ;) going to go with some black LX f/r mechs. 8)

i have to switch over to the P2s. the set of DiaCompe 987/SS5 brakeset i had settled on won't work with the straddle cam on the forks. the forward offset of the brakes is too much compared to the rocker for the straddle cable line… *ughh*

my luck is bad as of late as i keep running into these stupid little road blocks with my builds. *sigh*

okay, so kona fans will be pleased that i have now gone with the Joe Murray P2 fork, as I now have a matching Velocity stem. also decided to go with a relatively short width RF air alloy bar, diacompe ss5 levers, sach wavey and lx canti brakes.

i'm almost there with this build, if only i can source a bloody shimano crown race, who would have known it be so difficult.

aside from that, a chain, cabling and some grips and we should be good.
