Seriously, I had a collection of kiddies bikes, some were showroom condition. No charity shop would take em for that very reason. In the end one old dear in a charity shop took em for her grandkids on my understanding that it wasnt going thru the shop and was a private arrangement. 'kin mad world.
 
One PMC speaker was sitting solitary so went on a hunt for the other and found it in the metals skip quite undamaged.

The LB1 retailed for around £2500 - they need replacement drivers, coming in at about £250 each, no wonder they were binned.

However, I've just tried some Hitachi drive units and they fit perfectly and dont sound too bad (its the cabinet design that bumps up the cost).

There are also some original drive units available second hand that I might use, almost a Fat Chance frames worth second hand...
