I know that look out post. Did you go down the bridleway that passes under it then cross back over or did you stay on newgatebank forest area for a bit ?

We cut through the forest and the along the edge of Rievaulx moor.
Descended onto the b/w below and got lost in the bog carried on to the Hemsley rd,via the woodsman's hut then toward Laskill, if that make sense?
