Hi Guys,

First off let me apologies, to any of the forum members on here who I may/or may not have pi**ed off , (No complaints so far ) thanks...) , due to the large amount of posts on the for sale forum ,

The reason behind the big clearout, as some of you have asked is due to me having a major back problem , which will prevent me from riding hardtails ever again :cry: :cry:

I have been told by the consultant that I should no longer ride bikes again , but I have been riding bikes since 86, so the only way I could stop, if someone cuts my legs off and removes my hands , its in the blood man... I am sure most of you would understand this..

So after long and careful thought , I have decided to go against the quack and go back to full suspension, and rattle like a rattley thing and swallow the pain killers , as this should at least help :roll:

So I need to raise another £ 250.00 to get a full suspension bike , to make the dream continue, (the mrs wont help... as she thinks I should follow the quacks advice :roll: ) even though I have had full suspension bikes before, I always returned to hardtails, more recently retro hardtails...the feel... the lightness... the quality.. the love here...cant beat it, but sadly these are no longer compatible with my back :cry:

So come on guys ... help a fellow retrobiker out... buy my things...

I have priced everything to clear, if you fancy something, and you think its a little high, make me an offer , but please dont take the mick..


Help me obi-wan , your my only hope... (well not just him )

Bad news. Hope the back gets better, or at least better enough to ride.

speaking of rears can you lose the avatar? Lets keep them clean. Sithlords is harmless enough, problem is next someone will have a bouncing pair of norks in their avatar and it'll escalate again until nobody dare look at the site in work.

Iwasgoodonce.. yes the mech is very good, it has been used so there are a couple of marks on the inner plate, but other than that yep its minty.. will send you some up to date photos in a bit..

One other thought...have you considered complete perversions like recumbents? Sitting in a comfy chair could be just the thing.

I borrowed a Kingcycle and could have got hooked - handled like a jet fighter and easily pulled 50 mph on downhills.
