A modern steel bike is my preference. you get the skinny tubes but a modern geometry.I had a 2005 Rockhopper (or was it a Hardrock, cant remember which) and I must admit it was a cracking fun ride.
All of the bikes posted so far are quite lovely, despite my above statement and I know the modern bikes are so much more capable, but I just really prefer the thinner tubing of the older bikes.
I would happily fit either (or both) into my stable. 'Hoppers are the unsung hero of the Spesh lineup, have always been solid all terrain bikes. Plus, green bikes are fasterThis is a 2015 Rockhopper compared with a 1995 model. The 95 model is actual a "Large" while the 15 is a "Medium"
