The right way to be a boss and share money

Great, pay them a one off bonus that will be largely wasted. I'd be more impressed if he had taken the money and funded a new company creating more employment, using the skills he had gained over a career of running a business.

sour puss.........what's wrong with rewarding the hard work of your employees ? and how do you know all those individuals will waste their money........what is wasting money ? when it's a gift...

He didn't give me any?

I just think breaking up a large amount of money into small amounts of money reduces its potential to effect change, sure it will be a nice change for the people getting the bonus but on a larger scale i mean.

Tax fiddle?

My boss managed to squeeze the fact that he'd bought a new farm and the fact that we wouldn't be having a payrise in 2012 into the same sentance
Tact like a sledgehammer

Once worked somewhere where the boss's new 911 Turbo was delivered to the office the day before he announced a load of redundancies. That went down well too.

After spending a few years in lower management i decided to quit and go back on the shop floor with the lads because i couldnt live with the fact that senior management expected me to s**t all over my collegues just for their own satisfaction

I'm much more happier in life now.... Bloody skint though
