The new 26” Cruiser/BMX thread

This is good timing and an awesome thread. I just won a GT mallet stem for my 16.5 vintage gt that I want to convert. these bars are exactly the style I want. Anyone know who makes them?
Yes, they are Fairdale Mx-4 bars. Good luck with your build!

Thanks :)

Just ordered a set of something similar off ebay. Will be paint stripping and polishing them. 4” rise and same width as the mtb bars on it.

The way my back feels this morning - I need to order some 20" rise bars - damn gardening!

@Y282 - loving your GT - very classy

This is mine, it was built to help me get back cycling again, to help with my back which has improved a great deal since.
It is build around a 1998 GT Tempest frame with mostly Shimano XT drivetrain parts, Avid brakes and DMR parts, like jump forks, pedals and grips, the saddle has since been replaced for a more comfortable GT saddle. I am considering selling soon to make space and fund my next project.
Just a small update, replaced the 9" tall Haro F4 bars with a lower 6" Fairdale MX6, it has improved looks and handling!
