Got the first lot of donations through the post last night, including a pretty decent Velocity stem.. The parts bucket continues to grow.. i might need to invest in a trailer !!

Did I misunderstand but I thought the bike had to be assmebled on site at MM?

Although how Ed will manage this whilst riding solo for 24hrs I'm not sure....

When Ed arrives his bike will have to be in bits, (or atleast it will be if he leaves it alone for 2 mins :twisted: ) ..

He then gets the fun or building it again.. i would think we'll do this on Friday ...

I would imagine he was making sure it's going to be rideable before heading off..

I on the other hand am taking the alternative approach.. I will be arriving with a whole pile of stuff and will begin attaching it to a frame as i see fit... chances are it will fall apart on the first descent....

I'd love to do a build on Saturday morning but as there will be some riding later to mess with I thought I'd better get a head start (and as if I could have a pile of parts and a frame and not start building!).

So by clear infringement of Rule 4 and the subsequent loss of points I am self handicapping to try to level the playing field and give you all a sporting chance.

ours is part assembled ,but wwe need more bits , mainly transmission .
