The lite age

What a transformation and an an interesting component selection. Seat looks a bit high. Is the bike the right size for you?

I finished my Litage a while ago: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads...finished-result-on-page-3.435259/post-3732224
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying; I didn't see your comment!

The saddle isn't actually sized yet, just positioned for photos. The advantage of the Look pedals is that you don't need a specific cleat to use them; on the other hand, you can pedal in any shoe, so I hope to use it soon...just a little while 🤣

Your Litage is gorgeous! The original idea was to make something similar, in polished silver, elegant and discreet, timeless. I also had a Suntor XC Comp for the setup, but several things happened.
1) I made the Look MI-960 with XC-Pro just a little while before. Another Suntour used to break my bike so often.
2) I was given a Look Mi-800 R, its little brother... it'll be fun to ride the XC comp there, lol.
3) The truth is, the petrol blue of the NTH looks incredible, and with the pink logos, it's authentically '90s. On the other hand, I've had the Campagnolo gathering dust for over 30 years. Based on the date (around '91), it was a good idea to use it.

In any case, I thought it was worth the risk. If the idea wasn't a good one, it can be dismantled and sold; all the equipment fetches a good price.
But thank God, I loved it and it won't be dismantled. In fact, my wife says it's the most beautiful of my bikes... it's now officially adopted into the family!!:LOL:

One of my greatest "loves" has been the Sakae Litage since the 90s. Why? Well, I don't know.
And despite everything, it's always eluded me. I've been trying to get one for years but never managed to get it.
Perhaps the fact that the BH brand distributed them in Spain and that many were sold made me think that one day I would finally get one.
And that day has come.

I have a Sakae Litage complete bike branded as a Dawes Vision (UK) nice high spec all original components/wheel set. I you're interested please let me know.

The bike looks great! Especially the paint and the Campa parts.

Except the brake lever-trigger combo. Those are comically ugly still. They look like they belong on a kids bike. I do not understand how Campa was able to ruin those parts so thoroughly. I mean - the color doesn't fit their own parts. Why not make them chrome?? And the shape - so fat, so ugly. The crank, the hubs, the derailleurs - works of art. Classy even. And then the brake levers. What were they thinking?
Sorry for the rant.

Here's some pics of my Sakae Litage (Dawes Vision) - in original condition
