I also wonder how the wishbone was done.

I assume it will be an internal lug (like MBK's frames in the late 80s/early 90s). The internal lug will be brazed to the frame like a spigot and the wishbone slides over it and it soldered or brazed in place.

A quick chat online with them and they agree it will be one of theirs making it an early one, 2nd frame november 92, they had just set up L&A cycles and pre the LA prefix on frame numbers.

Let me know as I ended up buying the Lee Cooper chromed forks that were on sale for a while, but the steerer’s too long for what I have in mind.

I did have a Rockshox mag 20 and exage 500LX in mind but im tempted to do a take on a dogs bolx now, i have some nice parts set aside inc some Pace RC35 which would look nice with this, maybe some siver gen1 hydrotech brakes but then seems a shame to ignore the canti stop...... Or maybe (just maybe) full Deore DX with drillium

I did get the offer through on the chrome forks and was tempted, thing is i already have some of them in black and i havent paid more than a tenner for any.... But sir I thank you for the offer, the more i think though the more im sold on the RC35 forks Plus that'll go nicely with my black Lee Cooper quill stem
